BURNING REGULATIONS
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources does not allow burning from April 16 to September 14 of each year. Homeowners needing to burn vegetative waste must contact them for permission to burn. Recreational fires are allowed but must be kept small. A reasonable size for a recreational fire is approximately four feet by four feet. In the event you would like to have a recreational fire, we ask that you have some method to control it. Please do not hesitate to call us with any questions you may have or to call 9-1-1 if your recreational fire gets away from you. There is no charge for the fire department responding to your call for help. We would appreciate a call right away before a fire has a chance to gain momentum. We no longer issue burn permits, however, we do request that you give us a courtesy call at (636) 586-2557 to alert us that you will be burning. Thank you
