NOTICE OF ELECTION FOR BOARD OF DIRECTORS The DeSoto Rural Fire Protection District of Jefferson County, Missouri will hold an election for two positions on the Board of Directors, each for a six-year term and also to fill an unexpired term that will expire 2011. The election date will be April 7, 2009. Interested persons may file beginning December 16, 2008 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and each business day thereafter through January 20, 2009 at 5:00 p.m. Filing will be conducted at the administrative offices of the District located at 201 East Miller, DeSoto, MO 63020. A filing fee of ten dollars ($10.00) must be submitted at the time of filing. The District reserves the right to hold a drawing if necessary pursuant to Section 115.124.2 RSMo.
